Jiddu Krishnamurti explains that the modern idea of yoga (postures / breathing exercises) was only invented in the 17th or 18th Century by those wishing to develop occult powers. He then equates those powers with what we think of in the modern world as Extra-Sensory Perception or ESP

It is common knowledge in Islam that Muhammad ascended to heaven from the rock on the temple mount, yes? I will check out your recommended texts though. Thank you. Also, do you have any idea who Jiddu Krishnamurti is? Cause your beef is with him, not me. He was specifically referring to Hatha yoga. He went on to say that Raja yoga is the only true and authentic form of the practice. Your thoughts?

Its obvious you have not read any Vedic sastra.
This is common knowledge in the sanatan-dharma tradition.

MILLIONS of year old??? Now we know where the non-sense comes from. Who told you such BS and WHY would you believe it?? Trust me Jiddu Krishnamurti knows a whole lot more about spiritual matters than you do. You must be kidding if you want to argue with J Krishnamurti. But then again, you think yoga is millions of years old. Maybe Raja yoga is 6,000 years old. Good try with the rest!! LOL

This is totally wrong. What complete nonsense. YOga is millions of years old, actually it is eternal because it is spiritual.
Why would you upload such BS?

And these days it is very common to find it going on in apostate churches under the guise of exercize.
